The Cherrywood Art Fair is an Austin institution, now in it’s 14th year, that emphasizes locally made arts and crafts. The Fair features music, art vendors and food, and is held at the Maplewood Elementary School in the Cherrywood neighborhood. Standout artists in this years festival include Federico Archuleta (Graffiti Western), Deadly Creative photographs, fisk and fern’s Home Decor, Chet Art’s books and posters, Lumiere studio’s Tintype photobooth, Poppy and Fern’s embroidered jewelry, Curious Prints botanical posters, and Julio Carreon-Reyes birds. Musical performances held on an outdoor stage The Cuckoos, Wiretree and Flamencura, and continue through Sunday with the School of Rock, Dennis Campa, and the Sons of Santos. Other activities include Sky Candy’s aerial performances and the Little Artist BIG ARTIST Upcycled crafts. The Fair concludes Sunday December 13th.
